Biscuits and Sausage Gravy - X Servings Ingredients: 1 can Pillsbury Southern Style Buttermilk Biscuits 1 lb. Sausage or Ground Pork 1/3 cup All Purpose Flour 2 tbsp Butter or Bacon Grease 2 cups Whole Milk 3 tsp Black Pepper minimum 2 Pinches of kosher salt 1/8 - 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional) 1 tsp Creole Kick (optional) Preparation: 1) Preheat oven to XXXF for Biscuits. Once ready, insert Biscuits into oven for ~15 minutes 2) While Biscuits are in oven, heat up a skillet with a drizzle of olive oil to medium-high heat 3) Pour ground pork into skillet and mash up until small chunks. Break down with spatula until pink is gone. Stir regularly 4) Add flour to pork in skillet. Let it cook down and mix it up. Stirring constantly 5) Add butter. Allow to melt entirely. 6) Add milk slowly, maybe 1/2 cup or so at a time, letting it cook down and thicken. Stirring constantly 7) Add pepper and salt. Pepper flakes + Creole Kick if desired. 8) Add remaining milk (if any) 9) Stir constantly for a few minutes as it thickens 10) Lower heat to medium heat and allow to thicken to desired consistency
